Pessimistic Projection

scene: A bombed-out landscape, leaking pipes, crashed cars, a huge mushroom cloud and nuclear sunset. all that's left is the floor, one wall, and the meeting table of a conference room. 6 people are sitting around the table watching a presenter who is pointing at an easel bearing a chart that shows a steeply descending red line.
