Cartoon Convention

a large gathering of cartoon characters socializes on a nicely decorated patio, all holding drinks and chatting in small groups. one group has a skinny sunburned fellow who says "Desert island, you?" and a man in business clothing says "Man walks into a bar" while a shark says "shark week". and a woman in a red bathing suit with a large bite out of her leg says with a grin "cool! I'm sharks too!" nearby a cat in suspenders says "Anthropomorphics." next to her is a cat in a trenchcoat and fedora, smoking a pipe. facing them is a dog sitting on the ground with a doggie dish full of wine, and this dog replies, "oh, right. you're the ones who wear clothes." elsewhere a man and woman strangle and hit each other with a frying pan while both saying "Husband-wife cartoons," to a man with no mouth who holds a sign reading "no text." at the bottom in italic serif text it reads, “they cut our budget for speech balloons. all we have now is captions.” “Who said that?” “I dunno.” “Not me.”

Zombie Secretary: Woke-Fish

Date night. Begonia and a young man, both wearing masks, are seated at a romantic little table with a bottle of champagne nearby. The man says, "I'm openminded, babe. For example, I'm totally cool with your being a zombie. In fact it's kinda hot," he says, as pops the cork. Begonia says, "So you don't mind if i eat your brains, then?" the man yells, "Wait! MINE? Are you f-" Next scene: Petunia returns home to see Begonia and the man seated at the kitchen table. the top of the man's head has been sheared off and his brains removed. Petunia says, "Ah great, i see you brought dinner." Begonia. who has begun eating, says, "Yep. And it's still kinda hot."
