don't think i ever posted this one...so for the record: 

 

 

here's part of a public health poster i did for a clinic ten years ago.  suddenly i have a much better idea of how to draw canadian crutches....also, that going out in the rain with a cast is not advisable.  live and learn!

 

 

the Tero is the national bird of uruguay.  (not sure if that's official but they're quite common)

i believe it is also called the southern lapwing.  they're incredibly cute.
