Traffic Cones Coffee Break

four orange traffic cones are in a workroom drinking coffee and water. one holds a clipboard and says "Jones, you're on I-95 all week." Jones says, "ok, boss, just don't put me in a zipper lane." The boss continues, "powell, you'll be out at the Driver Education lot since Dempsey got run over." Powell turns very pale, and a fourth cone leans over and says, "Calm down, no one goes over four miles an hour there."

Shark Half-Fortnight 2025: Confessions of a Chain Catshark

three little chain catsharks and slumped on the floor of the sea, glowing gently. one says, "i just don't feel like glowing today." another one says, "m-hm."

Shark Half-Fortnight 2025: Goblin shark

A snake mackerel is swimming next to a goblin shark. Both are benthopelagic creatures. The title reads, “even the fierce and fascinating goblin shark has insecurity”. The snake mackerel asks “what’s wrong?” And the shark replies “Wikipedia says I’m flabby.”
