Lemon Drop: A Coloring Book for You


This picture began as a sketch done for Illustration Friday a few weeks ago, with the theme "Citrus." What began as a picture called "Lemon Drop" became this illustration, and whenever people see it, they ask why it's called that. The answer is this: Can you find the lemon one neighbor is borrowing from another? And so, I submit my camouflaged citrus for your enjoyment. Feel free to print it out and color it!

Comics and controversy

Did you ever think that that cartoon strip about the round-headed kid might be considered controversial? In an age when cartoons have sex, travel in time, take drugs, and deride our glorious administration, it's hard to imagine such a harmless little "appeals-to-everyone" comic strip could ever have caused dry heaves. And yet, look at this letter I came across:
